GForce Software has released an officially endorsed software version of the iconic Sequential Prophet~5 synthesizer, collaborating with Sequential to authentically recreate the sound, feel, and character of the original 1978 instrument.
This virtual instrument meticulously models the Rev1, Rev2 (SSM designs), and Rev3 (Curtis filter) hardware, offering the versatile and powerful sound that has defined genres and inspired artists from Genesis to Radiohead.
The Prophet~5 software plugin introduces modern enhancements, including GForce’s Newly Redesigned X-Modifiers, allowing almost every parameter to have dedicated envelopes and LFOs for dynamic sound shaping.
It features a dual-layer architecture with independent arpeggiators and chord modes for each layer, comprehensive MIDI CC mapping, full MPE compatibility for expressive control, and a suite of premium studio effects.
With over 460 presets, including the original 38 factory patches, and compatibility across Mac and PC in various formats, this software version aims to enable new creative moments while honoring the legacy of the Prophet~5.
