Audio Modeling’s SWAM engine set the standard for ultra-realistic solo instruments through real-time physical modeling rather than static samples. Now, Audio Modeling is breaking its long-standing monophonic rule with PolySWAM—a new instrument designed to bring expressiveness and organic realism to polyphonic arrangements, orchestral sketching, and live performance.
Developed in collaboration with Latin GRAMMY-winning producer Emanuele Ruffinengo, PolySWAM ditches heavy sample libraries. Instead of triggering fixed audio files, it continuously calculates physical acoustic behavior and assigns voices to virtual ensemble players on the fly. Its smart algorithms dynamically shape transitions like legato, staccato, and portamento, delivering a plug-and-play acoustic arsenal for studio scoring or stage performance.

- Expressive Polyphony: Applies Audio Modeling’s signature SWAM physical modeling engine to polyphonic playing and multi-voice arrangements.
- Real-Time Synthesis (No Samplers): Eliminates static sample triggering in favor of dynamic real-time physical calculations.
