Tone Empire have released Cryptone 2, available at the intro price of $29.00, increasing to $99.00 after the promotion. It’s a free update for existing users.
Instant vintage, rebuilt. Three neural models of classic analog circuits, a new compressor, a new face — and AUTO, so you can drive it as hard as you like and judge the tone, not the volume.
The plugin introduces an AUTO feature that measures and matches input and output loudness, allowing users to evaluate tonal changes without the influence of volume differences.
The DRIVE knob has been extended to provide a broader range of saturation, accompanied by a visual valve glow effect that reacts to the signal intensity.
A redesigned Thrust compressor offers program-dependent performance that maintains transient integrity while effectively managing sustained sounds.
Version 2 includes 150 new presets across seven categories, a refined SILK tone curve for improved high-frequency quality, and optimized engine performance to reduce CPU load.
Cryptone 2 is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
