Parrot is a free, colorful, and feature-rich multi-modal delay plugin from Darkpalace Studio, designed to add character to your sound through chorus, pitch shifting, and three cohesive parallel delays.
The plugin offers extensive frequency control with three separate modal bands, allowing users to independently target specific frequency ranges for delays and textures, with options for narrow or broad bandpasses and independent control over gain, mix, feedback, solo, and mute.
Parrot supports a wide range of tempo settings, delay types (stereo, ping-pong), and includes features like keytracking for MIDI notes and true peak limiting.
Features include:
- Choose from narrow 24dB/oct peaks to broad 6dB/oct bandpasses per band.
- Control each band independently using its personal controls including gain, mix, feedback, solo and mute.
- Use keytracking to move the modes to MIDI notes.
- Choose between 16 different MIDI channels, set to OMNI by default.
- No worries about high peaks with true peak limiting.
- Link bands together for easy adjustment.
- Change your processing from Left/Right to Mid/Side.
- Oversample up to 8x.
