This publication has a story all its own. In the original The Resource Library, we combined four legendary Ueberschall products that were never previously available as digital downloads. One of these products was Vintage Licks & Phrases. For this track we had recorded a huge collection of inspiring musical phrases. These were played by top-class studio musicians on a wide range of instruments. After weeks of editing, Vintage Licks & Phrases was released in 2002.
The Resource – Lost Tapes contains over 11,000 loops and phrases. 7.5 GB of sample data is distributed across 6 Elastik sound banks. Instruments include electric bass, saxophone, trumpet, flugelhorn, clavinet, organ, synthesizer, electric guitar, acoustic piano and electric piano. The phrases were recorded at 120 BPM and are organized in three keys: A, D and E minor. Elastik’s diverse and efficient algorithms, such as ReTune, enable fine-tuning of tempo, pitch and key to suit any project.
