Teletone have reduced the price of Soulfi, now only $90.00, (usually $129.00).
Recorded with authentic 1955 ribbon microphones and vintage, era-specific drums, Soulfi captures the heartbeat of a timeless era reimagined through our innovative beatmaker.
To capture the dynamic and era-specific sound of the drums, we used vintage RCA ribbon microphones with modern ribbon mics playing a supporting role. Renowned for their smooth, natural response and rich tonal qualities, these classic mics add an authentic, old-school vibe.
Each drum was meticulously recorded using iron alloy transformers, which gave the recording a rich, warm, analog sound that added depth and character to every hit.
The RCA microphones were then paired with vintage Tube-Tech EQs creating a crispy edge and a low end punch.
Teletone Audio crafted 41 different kits from over 100 vintage and modern drums, that were recorded with multiple round robins and velocity layers. The sample selection includes kicks, snares, hi-hats, toms, rides, crashes as well as a wide range of percussive elements like bongos, maracas, cowbell, tambourines, shakers, clave, snaps, claps and much more.
Teletone also crafted over 100 beats inspired by our favorite artists, decades, and styles. Each beat includes 7 variations, giving you more than 700 grooves to spark your creativity. Every beat syncs perfectly with your host BPM without any time-stretching or loss of fidelity!
The studio-staple Beatmaker makes it a breeze to create, bend and break a wide range of beats. Simply arrange your patterns across eight measures and switch between them in real-time for a dynamic and complex performance.
Bend the beats up, down and sideways with the Pitch Wheel and Mod Wheel. Time stretch, pitch shift, and multiply your beat to create an expressive and elastic performance.
